In June 2026 we opened a pilot apartment on our campus, and a mother is living in it.

It is one apartment. That is deliberate. Running a maternity home well is a skill, and we would rather learn it with one family than with fifteen at once. Everything we learn here goes into the building next door.

Our program director is Lori Lorgeree, a single mom herself and a trained, experienced caseworker who works with other mothers. Pregnancy Aid Illinois runs a supply store out of our building and refers mothers to us.
